In 1999, when I was in art school, I designed my first wedding invitation ensemble; it was for two friends who were having a destination wedding in Hawaii. I had a great time working with them to design their perfect custom invitation and from that point on, I was hooked on creating unique, custom invitations. I also fell in love with destination weddings …

Soon after I designed their wedding stationery, I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and pursued life as a visual artist. All the while, I was designing invitations and announcements whenever possible.

My own destination wedding took place in Siena, Italy in May 2005. In the year leading up to the wedding, I spent much of my time fussing over papers, styles and fonts - and I loved every second of it! It was during that time that I realized that I had to recognize my passion - designing unique, custom invitations and stationery, with a special focus on destination weddings … par avion design was born!

We absolutely love creating unique invitations and announcements for special events that call for something different, something extra special, to act as a prelude to the celebration. Although we have a special fondness for custom destination wedding stationery, we design invitations and announcements for any occasion or event! Personalized stationery - cards, notepads, calling cards We do custom save the dates, invitations, announcements, booklets, programs, name and table cards, maps, thank you cards – you name it, we can design it!
